That distinction matters. Yellowing is not just about the product itself. Which vehicles show yellowing the most?
Light-colored vehicles tend to reveal the issue fastest. White paint is the most unforgiving because even slight discoloration in the film becomes visible at certain angles and under direct sunlight. Silver, light gray, and some pearl finishes can also make yellowing easier to spot.
Dark vehicles are not immune, but the visual effect is often less obvious. On black, blue, or charcoal paint, contamination and haze may show up before yellowing does. That is why some owners think their film is aging well when the same product on a white vehicle would already look questionable.

Then make sure installation quality is there. A precise install will not stop chemistry from failing, but it does prevent other issues that can make film look older faster, including dirt-trapping edges, poor fitment, and uneven finish.
